Basant panchmi 2026
At Kusum Goyal Dr. Santosh Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad, the festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated with great enthusiasm today on 23 January 2026. The students of the school presented beautiful cultural programs. On the occasion of Maa Saraswati Prakatya Diwas and on the topic of why Basant Panchami is celebrated, today’s program was conducted and explained by Acharya Shri Rahul Verma.
Today also marks the Martyrdom Day of Veer Balak Haqiqat Rai. His life and sacrifice were explained by the school’s Acharya Smt. Sujata Sharma Ji. Coincidentally, today is also the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. An address highlighting his life was delivered by Acharya Shriman Tapendra Kumar Bhardwaj Ji.
After this, a Havan was organized in the school. In the Havan, the chief yajman was the President of the School Management Committee, Shri Dhurendra Kumar Goyal Ji, along with his wife. From the School Management Committee, Shri Neeraj Mittal Ji was present, along with school Acharya Shriman Sandeep Kumar Sharma and his wife. All the guests present, along with all the Acharyas, staff members, and students of the school, offered oblations in the Havan.
The introduction of all the guests was given by the school’s Principal, Shriman Pankaj Sharma. The program was successfully conducted with the cooperation of all Acharyas and staff members.
